Grown, processed and milled in the South Island of New Zealand, this beautiful yarn is a blend of white Merino and natural coloured Arapawa wool.
It is a 4 ply, 3 fold yarn which has a beautiful heathered look. Woolen spun yarn traps a lot of air pockets which makes it lighter in weight, but warmer to wear than worsted spun yarns. They also have a more matte finish with a soft halo. When knitted, your garment will be very soft with a lovely squishy feel.
Care Instructions:
Handwash only with a gentle wool wash such as Earth Choice or Eucalan.
Dry flat in the shade
Some colour bleeding may occur with initial washes, especially Indigo!
Variation in colours are a normal attribute of naturally dyed yarns. If you wish to knit a garment, alternate skeins to avoid patching or striping.
Please purchase enough skeins for your project from the same batch/listing. Variations in colour will occur between different batches.
Your Valleymaker knitted garment garment will last for years if cared for properly.
